I am currently stuck in an extremely and frustratingly unproductive stretch for my riding. Last Friday night Michelle got COVID at an evening school function that ended up being a superspreader, and since she lovingly passed it along to me, I tested positive this week. She urged me to curtail my ride today and be satisfied with a short one in order to guard my energy, so I just did a 4-mile round trip to the library to return a book (in a slow 31 minutes). The weather was on the cool side for this time of year (56°) and cloudy, but we're supposed to see dramatic improvement over the weekend, with Sunday (Mother's Day) being "spectacular."
